Kuanzhai Alleys, located in the heart of Chengdu, is a well-preserved historic neighborhood consisting of three parallel alleys: Kuan Alley (Wide Alley), Zhai Alley (Narrow Alley), and Jing Alley (Well Alley). It offers visitors a unique glimpse into traditional Chengdu life.
The alleys date back to the Qing Dynasty and were originally home to Qing Dynasty officials and their families. Today, they have been restored and transformed into a vibrant cultural district with shops, restaurants, tea houses, and galleries.
