Chunxi Road is Chengdu’s busiest shopping street and the closest thing the city has to a commercial heart. The adjoining Taikoo Li development is a low-rise open-air complex built around the historic Daci Temple, with contemporary architecture, flagship stores, restaurants, and cafes. It is the more pleasant half of the pair, and it is where most visitors end up spending their time.
